About the Academy
The Academy caters to players of all levels seeking to develop their technical ability and improve their overall game. It focuses on a progression of technical and tactical components of the game and is delivered by our experienced and qualified Coastal FC Academy Staff.
The Academy provides a challenging, supported and passionate environment for players to have fun while they develop. The experience gained from attending the Academy will help prepare players for the transition into the top level programs.
By creating one academy structure, it allows the Club to assess players more readily and bridges the gap between different ages and/or levels of play.
The goal of The Academy is to help develop and prepare individuals for participation in a variety of programs in the future and help foster a love for the game throughout their soccer careers. The experience gained from attending The Academy will properly prepare players for the transition into these levels of programming.
Structure and Player Movement
Groups will be structured by ability and/or age. Players will have the opportunity, based on staff assessment and recommendation, to move within the academy system. For example, players at the entry level (House) will have the opportunity to develop their abilities for possible placement at higher levels such as Prospects or Rep. Similarly, players attending from the Prospects and Rep levels will have the opportunity to develop their abilities for possible placement at higher levels such as Rep or potentially Premier League in the near future.
